Section 4 of Goldfields Track (Creswick Visitor centre to Dean Village Hall)

We will be walking approximately 17.5km from Creswick Visitor centre to Dean Village  Hall. Terrain will be varied, with steep uphill and steep downhill sections, very uneven and narrow tracks following water races and 1.5km road walking on the Dean - Ballarat road. If there is a lot of rain expect slippery conditions and flooding on clay sections.

We will meet at Dean Village Hall and then car pool to Creswick Visitor centre to start our walk. (Participants are very welcome to independently organise car pooling from Ballarat to Dean.)

Please have appropriate, comfortable footwear and clothing, sufficient water, snacks and food, walking poles if you use them, first aid kit, sunscreen
